Brunch from the breakfast menu
Late start? Until 1pm you can put your brunch together from the same menu: the tosta malagueña, sweet and savoury at once, or the posturita with smoked salmon, avocado and boiled egg; a mollete or a ham and cheese croissant; fresh orange juice and a coffee. Choose what you fancy, each item at its menu price.
Mega tostas
Two ways to start the day. The tosta malagueña is pure Málaga: butter, peach and fig jams, pringá, zurrapa, tomato, raisins and salted almonds. The tosta posturita is the fancier one: cream cheese, smoked salmon, avocado, boiled egg, cheese cured in Pedro Ximénez, honey, raisins and cashews.
Molletes and croissants
The mollete is the soft Andalusian breakfast roll, toasted: ham and cheese, olive oil and tomato, or catalana with Iberian ham. Sweet tooth? Croissant with butter and jam.
Coffee, the Málaga way
Locals order coffee by how much milk goes in. Ask for a cortado (a dash of milk) or a mitad (half and half), plus espresso, americano, cappuccino or café bombón with condensed milk. Fresh orange juice, ColaCao hot chocolate and teas too.
